Project Snakebitten

Project Snakebitten is Done!

In September of 2007 I bought a wrecked 2001 Suzuki Katana off Ebay.  The frame was bent so I picked up a 1998 frame. Swapped the components, added 5 degree throttle advancer, an Ivan’s Jet kit, Yosi exhaust, changed the tail for an 03, added Clear Alternatives integrated tail light, Clear Alternatives clear turn signals. Added a Braada seat cowl, replaced the front forks, mirrors, foot pegs (Thanks Lapdog for the machining), windscreen, headlight & bracket, leavers, fairing, did body work on fairing, reupholstered the seat, and finally a pearl white paint job. All in all about a year long. This never would have happened without the help of our own Chris Sweeny. Chris provided the mechanical & paint expertise while I was more procurement and generally in Chris’s way while he turned wrenches. Thanks Chris!
